Now that the Christmas season is officially upon us, I’ve decided to challenge myself to post a Christmas-related video every day through December 25th. Since today is Black Friday, I can’t think of a more appropriate one than Stan Freberg’s 1958 masterpiece condemning the commercialization of the holiday, Green Chri$tma$. This is audio-only and features Freberg, Daws Butler, Marvin Miller, Will Wright and the Jud Conlon Chorale, with musical direction by Billy May.
This production becomes more relevant every year….and that’s not a good thing.
